"Sky Essentials—This natural, botanically-derived, skincare line was created by a nurse, Yasmin, so I totally trust her…because I love nurses! We all need to acknowledge that profession more! She gave each guest at the event a ton of her time to explain all her products to them, which I’m sure we all appreciated. (I know that I did!) And she had one of the prettiest and inviting displays there. If her serums and cleaners work as well as they are attractive, everyone who received them will be looking pretty good very soon!"
THE 'SKY' IS THE LIMIT AT LAGUNA NIGUEL SALON/SKINCARE COMPANY
by Patti Pietschmann the bodacious beauty guru
"Working the Secretoomevents pre-red carpet event honoring MTV Awards nominees gifting lounge aka: swag suite, at SLS Beverly Hills Hotel I discovered a new skin care kid in town (Laguna Niguel actually) called Sky Essentials. It's a natural, botanically derived, line created for women of all ages and skin types who wish to achieve beautiful, healthy and radiant skin with minimal effort. according to founder Yasmin Sharifi RN, MSN, CNOR, ME,who glows with a healthy flawless complexion.
We chatted for awhile about skincare and sun damage and I could tell Yasmin really knows her stuff. Then after bringing a swag bag full of her products and sampling each it was obvious her products reflect that knowledge which is result of education and research. A graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing, Yasmin continued her nursing career, rising to the level of Director of Surgical Services for major hospitals in the Orange County and Los Angeles area; all the while finding time to follow her passion for beauty by participating as “first assist” in countless cosmetic procedures for prominent cosmetic surgeons in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach, California. She enhanced her knowledge in the surgical world as an administrator and later went on to receive her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from California State University Dominguez Hills."
